Seewinkel Lepidium swards

Puccinellion peisonis: Lepidietum crassifolii (Lepidio crassifolii-Puccinellietum peisonis)

Endemic community of the Seewinkel, in the eastern Neusiedlersee basin developed along the shores of salt ponds, where it occupies higher ground or more landward locations of the solonchak belt then the Puccinellia swards of 15.A142, and is submitted to more extreme conditions of high saltiness and summer soda efflorescences resulting from a briefer annual period of soaking and less frequent inundations. Lepidium cartaligineum ssp. crassifolium dominates alone or in association with Puccinellia festuciformis ssp. intermedia (Puccinellia peisonis).

A Fertő mellék endemikus társulása, a Fertő-tó medencéjének keleti részén szikes tavak partjai mentén alakult ki, ahol magasabb térszíneket, vagy a szoloncsák öv víztől távolabbi területeit hódítja meg, mint a 15.A142 alatt tárgyalt Puccinellia állományok, így ki van téve a magas sótartalom és az évenkénti rövidebb átnedvesedés és a ritkább elárasztás eredményezte nyári sóvirágzás okozta szélsőségesebb körülményeknek. A Lepidium cartaligineum ssp. crassifolium vagy egyedül dominál, vagy a Puccinellia festuciformis ssp. intermedia (Puccinellia peisonis) társaságában.
