Aremonio-Fagion (Fagion illyricum): Ostryo-Fagenion

Thermophilous and often calcicolous Fagus sylvatica forests of the Dinarids and of associated ranges and hills, with outliers and irradiations in the southeastern Alps and in the mid-Pannonic hills, characterized by the presence of Ostryo-Carpinion orientalis or Fraxino orni-Ostryion species.

A Dinári-hegység és előhegyei és dombvidékei melegkedvelő és gyakran meszes talajú, Ostryo-Carpinion orientalis vagy Fraxino orni-Ostryion fajok jelenlétével jellemezhető Fagus sylvatica erdői, melyeknek állományai a délkeleti Alpokig és a középső pannóniai dombokig terjednek.
