Mercuriali-Tilietum, Tilio-Sorbetum

Forests of Tilia platyphyllos, sometimes with Fraxinus excelsior, of steep slopes of submontaneto high montane levels of the Hungarian Central Range and of adjacent Carpathian hills of middle Slovakia. Forests of the same area, similarly dominated by Tilia platyphyllos and Fraxinus excelsior, but with the character of steppe forests and developed on exposed crests, have been listed under 41.842 (oro-Pannonic steppe ash-lime forests, Tilio-Fraxinetum).

Gyakran Fraxinus excelsior elegyes Tilia platyphyllos erdők a Magyar-Középhegységben és Kárpátok szomszédos, közép szlovákiai peremhegyein. A hasonló elterjedésű, szintén Tilia platyphyllos és Fraxinus excelsior dominálta, de sztyepperdő jellegű, meredek sziklákon kialakuló erdőket, a 41.842 pont (oro-pannóniai hárs-kőris sztyepperdők) soroltuk fel.
