Strongly thermophile acidophilous Quercus petraea forests of the peri-Pannonic hills and of the Illyrian basins of the Drava and Sava, constituting a transition between the slightly thermophilous submeridional forests of unit 41.57 and the thermophilous oak sub-Mediterranean or steppe forests of 41.7.

Erősen melegkedvelő mészkerülő Quercus petraea erdők a peripannóniai dombokon és az illír Dráva és Száva völgyben, melyek átmenetet képeznek a 41.57 alatti enyhén termofil cirkumpoláris erdők és a 41.7 alatti termofil szubmediterrán vagy sztyepptölgyesek között.
