Troglobiont invertebrate caves

Troglobionta gerinctelenek barlangjai

Caves harbouring communities that include no troglobiont amphibians or fish, but include troglobiont invertebrates, limited worldwide to a relatively small number of species belonging to a limited number of groups, and including remarkable relict species. In the Palaearctic region, the majority are situated in the northern Mediterranean basin and the peri-Pontic region. Gastropoda, Opiliones, Chilopoda (Lithobiidae), Collembol, Coleoptera (Bathysciinae and Trechinae subfamilies) among theterrestrial faunas, Turbellaria, Gastropoda and Urodela, among the aquatic faunas, are characteristicof their communities, and essentially restricted to caves of temperate regions.

Barlangok, melyekben troglobionta kétéltűeket vagy halakat nem tartalmazó, de troglobionta gerincteleneket – melyekből az egész világon csak viszonylag kevés ilyen faj van, melyek kisszámú csoporthoz tartoznak, de számos reliktumfaj tartozik közéjük – tartalmazó állatközösségek élnek. A palearktikus régióban többségük az északi mediterrán medencében és a peri-pontusi régióban található. A szárazföldi faunából Gastropoda, Opiliones, Chilopoda (Lithobiidae), Collembola, Coleoptera (Bathysciinae és Trechinae alcsaládok), a víziből Turbellaria, Gastropoda és Urodela csoportok fajai jellemzik e közösségeket, melyek kizárólag a mérsékelt övi barlangokhoz kötődnek.
