Join to SER Europe!

The Society for Restoration Ecology (SER) promotes ecological restoration around the globe through facilitating dialogue among restorationists, encouraging research, promoting awareness of and public support for restoration and restorative management, contributing to public policy discussions, and recognizing those who have made outstanding contributions to the field of restoration. This work is partly realized through chapters of different geographical regions.

About the European Chapter

The European Chapter was officially acknowledged in October 2001. The first membership meeting was held during the Budapest conference where a Board was elected and targets and priorities were discussed. Our priority is to spread information about SERI, and gather people working in restoration all over Europe. An e-mail list with over a thousand addresses was established for distributing information and a website is to be launched soon (http://www.sereurope.org). Our intention is to establish a reputation at the European Union level and to cooperate with all functioning organizations related to restoration that take place in Europe.
